Jodie Annis, LMSW, CAADC

Jodie completed her bachelor’s degree in social work at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and completed her master’s degree in social work at Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, MI. Jodie completed her graduate internship with the Trauma Assessment Center through Child and Family Services in Traverse City, MI working with children from traumatic pasts. Following graduation Jodie also obtained a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Certification from the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals. She is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Jodie has experience using a client centered approach working with a wide range of clientele. She takes special interest in working with those with substance use issues as well as those coming from traumatic pasts. Jodie has walked with clients of all ages and backgrounds as they navigate through their journey of change.
